Privacy on the blog
Reading an article should not require guessing what happens to your information. Here is the practical picture.
The Heurivon blog is part of heurivon.com. You can read its public pages without an account. This page explains the blog-specific features in plain language; it complements, rather than replaces, Heurivon's full Privacy Policy.
If you leave your email
Subscribing is optional. The current signup form offers one email when Heurivon launches. We record the email address you submit, where you signed up, and when. We also send your email address to Resend, our email service provider, to maintain the blog's subscriber list. This means your address is processed both in Heurivon's systems and by Resend for that service.
To withdraw your signup or request deletion of your subscriber details, write to legal@heurivon.com. If you receive a subscription email, you can also use its unsubscribe option. Unsubscribing from email and deleting a stored record are different requests; please tell us if you want both.
What we measure while you read
The blog records page views and clicks on links that lead to the Heurivon product. These events include the page path, an article identifier where relevant, the time, and a randomly generated visitor identifier stored in your browser's local storage. That identifier lets us recognize the same browser across visits; it is not a name or email address, but it is still an identifier.
We use these records to understand which articles people read and whether they continue to the product. Query parameters are removed from the page path before it is stored in the blog's analytics records. The hosting service also handles routine connection information, and operational logs can include details such as IP addresses and request paths.
Browser storage and signing in
Local storage is different from a cookie: the blog's visitor identifier remains in your browser until its site data is cleared. Clearing it resets that identifier, but does not erase events already recorded or permanently opt you out; a later visit can create a new identifier.
The blog shares Heurivon's domain and authentication system. Existing Heurivon session cookies may therefore accompany blog requests. Managing posts requires the blog owner's authenticated Heurivon account; there is no separate blog login account. Public reading does not require signing in. Clearing Heurivon's site data may also sign you out of the main app.
Services behind the pages
Hosting, database, and file-storage providers help us deliver the blog, and Resend handles the subscriber list and email service. The owner can also ask OpenAI to suggest a post's SEO description; that feature sends the article title and text for processing. It is an editorial action, not something triggered by your reading a page or subscribing.
